Le Kilt

Heritage-inspired essentials for the modern woman
Founded in 2014, Le Kilt’s began as a single kilt style made by Samantha’s Italian grandmother, a former kilt maker who worked on Edinburgh’s Royal Mile for over 40 years.
McCoach named the label after the legendary Soho club of the 80’s and its signature colour-rich tartan kilts, knitwear and denim are imbued with a tough-meets-feminine duality that takes inspiration from female post-punk bands. Each piece is handcrafted using traditional materials and age-old techniques to create wearable tokens of identity, nostalgia and craft that are made to last. Using small-scale manufacturers from across the UK, Le Kilt aims to act as a proponent of sustainability and to introduce traditional craftsmanship to a modern audience.
